Glaser Organic Farms

Glaser Organic Farmer's Market has been every Saturday in Coconut Grove for over 20 years.  There is so much delicious prepared raw foods, vegan ice cream, fresh juices, and organic produce that Friday evening is almost like the night before Christmas for me.  Of course, food this good also attracts so many wonderful people that the community is alive and buzzing under the blue striped tent.

Tracy, the creative chef mastermind, and Stan, the namesake and one of the hardest working men I have ever been blessed to meet, have created something so extraordinary it puts your typical farmer's market to shame.  It is not a place where you just go to shop for your weekly produce, but Stan and Tracy have managed to build and provide a space for conscious community to congregate under the huge shade trees of Coconut Grove.  If ever you are in near Homestead I highly recommend taking a tour of the farm or attending one of Tracy's raw food classes.

While living the raw lifestyle for a year in northern California, I was getting board with my salads, and carrot sticks and almond butter snacks quickly.  My friend brought me one of Tracy's Carob Fudgy Brownies from a local health food store and told me to try it.  I could not believe that something so delicious could be raw.  I jumped on an airplane to come and check out what Glaser Organic Farms was doing with raw food and to see the amount of sunshine Miami had to offer me.  I was tired of those coastal foggy days.  I loved it so much that I moved here a month later, began to work at the farm and at the market, continuing my journey down the raw road.

I feel so grateful to get to experience Glaser's Farmers Market.  Even on the Saturday's I am not working it always feels like home.  Thank you Stan and Tracy for all of your years of hard work and dedication.  You are an inspiration in doing what you love!
